A long-time UCLA child care teacher was arrested on suspicion of child sexual abuse. The childcare teacher, Christopher Rodriguez, worked in the UCLA Child Care Center and was part of the Early Care and Education Department. He was arrested by the UCLA Police Department. UCLA Child Care Center
The UCLA Child Care Center is a childcare facility available only to families and community members who are associated with UCLA. The child care center employs teachers and others to assist in the daily care needs of young children. The UCLA Wasserman Dean and Professor Christina Christie sent a letter to parents to inform them of the teacher’s arrest. The memo said, in part, that the staff reported child care teacher Christopher Rodriguez to the appropriate agencies immediately.
