Gino Beccaria Santa Rosa Teacher Arrested for Alleged Lewd Acts with a Student

Gino Beccaria, 34, of Santa Rosa, was identified by the SRPD’s Domestic Violence Sexual Assault team as the accused teacher. An investigation launched, which eventually led to the arrest of Beccaria. The Santa Rosa Police Department began the investigation based on information received concerning a male teacher suspected of engaging in lewd misconduct with a student at the Cesar Chavez Language Academy.

Gino Beccaria’s Arrest
The police found Gino Beccaria near the Rohnert Park Expressway and State Farm Drive when they pulled him over at approximately 9 p.m. The SRPD arrested Breccaria and subsequently booked him into the Sonoma County Jail. Beccaria was booked on the following:
- Intent to commit lewd acts with a minor
- Suspicion of lewd acts with a minor
- Contact with a minor with the intent to commit lewd acts
- Arranging a meeting with a minor with the intent to commit lewd acts
The Cesar Chavez Language Academy’s website listed Gino Beccaria as a science teacher for 7th and 8th grades. Additionally, Beccaria coached football and lacrosse at Rancho Cotate High School.
While authorities are not disclosing the victim’s identifying information at this time, they have coordinated resources to be on the school’s campus, including the Violence Prevention Partnership, New Hope for Youth and Verity. Officials are emphasizing the importance of parents discussing the dangers of sexual predators with their children.
